I discovered Jiu-Jitsu through the Army combatives program while I was enlisted. Grappling quickly became something I was passionate and excited about from that point on. After finishing my contract I hiked the Appalachian trail, and after that I immediately came to study at Gracie Barra. As an avid competitor I have been both learning and competing in Jiu-Jitsu for just over four years now, and have recently begun competing in judo as well. I will continue to both learn and compete for as long as I can. It’s my goal to pass on this excitement and any knowledge I’ve accrued to anyone willing.
